Azul saves 1.5 million liters of jet fuel by optimizing ATC and charts at Viracopos

Azul transformed how it flies into and out of its main hub. By comparing planned and actual flight paths with SkyBreathe® Analytics, the fuel efficiency team found where arrival and departure procedures were costing fuel, and built the evidence to change them with Brazil's air navigation authority, DECEA. Over 2025, the project delivered 1.5 million liters of fuel saved, plus real time savings for Azul's network and on-time performance teams.
