The implementation process was a highlight for us because we have experienced similar implementations in the past, and the whole process was smooth on our end, with the data set and systems we had and the team and implementation team required. All the documents were smoothly integrated, and we followed the timeline exactly as we planned.

SkyBreathe®’s implementation process was well structured from the start. OpenAirlines provided a very detailed plan outlining what we could expect at specific intervals and when we should meet certain milestones. That clear plan from the start allowed us to really identify internally which teams we needed to speak to and what we needed from them to deliver the project on time."

FAQ

How to prepare for a fuel efficiency solution implementation?

Appoint a project sponsor on your side early. Gather access to your data and systems ahead of kick-off. Our team defines your specifications together with you, so you don't need a detailed plan in advance. We guide you through every step, from day one.

How long does a typical SkyBreathe® implementation take?

Most implementations take 3 to 6 months. Timelines depend on your fleet size, systems, and data complexity. We build a realistic schedule together during the specification phase, so you know what to expect from the start.

How much internal effort is required?

We handle around 80% of the work, including technical setup and data integration. Your team's role is to provide system access, appoint a sponsor, and validate integrations and milestones. This keeps your workload manageable.

What happens if we’re migrating from another fuel efficiency solution?

We've supported airlines migrating from in-house tools and other providers' solutions. Our team manages the transition, including legacy data and configuration, so your teams keep working with minimal disruption.
